Supply of Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS)

Project Details

This project consists of provision, adaptation/customization, testing, deployment, operation and training for the establishment of a comprehensive Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS). IFMIS supports staff in public finance administration and management in central government with a level of financial management information sufficient for (1) effective decision making by the management hierarchy in central government wrt resource allocation, safeguarding of assets and attaining stated government goals; and (2) reporting to external entities in the interests of transparency, accountability and good governance.

The implementation of IFMIS will take a phased approach both functionally, for ministry coverage and geographically. IFMIS will also trigger a change within the public financial management in Syria as the software will also be used as an enabler.
 
This contract, as the initial phase of IFMIS implementation will focus on and be limited to the core elements of General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

The Project is carried out together with Invest4all software development team.
